Deadlite

Deadlite is a band from the GTA in Ontario, Canada. The group is comprised of Allen Rimpola on main vocals, Andrei Magarro on guitars and backing vocals, Tim Adrian on bass, Nyl Del Rosario on guitars, and backing vocals, and current session drummer, Nicola Sudano.

They mix various musical influences such as Shoegaze, Metal, Pop, Hardcore and Punk, to mention a few; creating such tunes that emanate all sides of the band’s influences across genres.

With the debut single, ‘Gunshot’, followed by the release of their debut EP, ‘Conscience’ in 2018. The EP has more pop punk and grunge influences.

In January of 2021, ’Head’s Up, Dear’ was released alongside a music video, which they selfproduced. Highlighting the band’s softer and more chill side. Which then was followed up in March of the same year, ‘Arms of Failure’ came out. Showing the band’s heavier side and in collaboration with session drummer and the band’s longtime friend, Nicola Sudano, and director Matt Guarassi of Spectrelight.

And the band released SELINA, in October 2021. Keeping the same team from the previous music video and collaborating with dancer and choreographer Siena Marie, alongside dancing partner Jewel Cruz for the music video. The song got nominated and won the VIBEANT’S FILCAN Music Awards 2022, Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year awards.

In the summer of 2023, the band collaborated with PrimalNotesStudios for a live session. It was produced by the studio, mixed by Nyl Del Rosario and the band released the live session on all streaming services.

The band is currently working and preparing for upcoming releases and continues to evolve and strive to innovate their sound as they venture into new, uncharted territories of their music.
